We are amateurs, we’re aware. But this blog is to challenge the undomesticated like us.

I am inspired to make a collection of vegetarian meals! i’ve been browsing martha stewart online during advanced Spanish class. Muy Muy Bueno!
If anyone has delicious vegetarian meal ideas, please share!
I must take exactly one moment to deviate from the standard food/craft post and say that I have some of the loveliest girlfriends I’ve ever known. These are just a very few from high school that I spent my Sunday with drinking tea and bonding over muffins and tarts. I’ve only recently began to appreciate girl-friendships, and I must say, spending time with other girls is essential to our sanity and our femininity, and spending time without each other is essential to our sanity as well. I’ve usually been one to have more girlfriends that are out of high school already and in a different age bracket, and while that stills holds true, I find that the ones that actually surround me every day make for perfect friendships. Maybe it’s just my sentimental heart getting the best of me, and the fact that in two more months I will be moving on from high school and daily high school topics. Okay, enough of my ranting, they just deserve a shout out!

Yesterday i hosted the long awaited *by me* tea party, and i must say i thoroughly enjoyed myself. I made a fruit tart, the second one in two days! (maybe this blog is actually working?!), and lemon-poppyseed and assorted berry muffins, with these cute mini brownies top with cream cheese and blueberries, served alongside sparkling water and lots and lots of tea!
I’ve never truly hosted many parties before, and my ever growing love for baking, cooking, decorating and planning still shocks me on a daily basis! Maybe i really am turning into a true domesticated housewife…. unlikely :)
